I know this VN using 1st person POV. However, for me it's kinda weird to see Rayne's name and sprite meanwhile the text is the narrations of the story.
The difference between the narrations of the story and the dialogue only on the quotation mark ( “.....” ). Rayne's name and sprite while the text is the narrations of the story makes Rayne looks like monologuing...
1. When there's quotation mark (") and his sprite appears; He's saying it verbally
2. When there's no quotation mark but his sprite appears; It's a thought in his mind
3. When there's none of both; yeha, it's sort of like a narration that Rayne's doing (more like to give a better explaination without expressing his personality in the sentence)
I hope I help clear something up, and made your reading session more enjoyable :]

Not gonna lie, I'm not a fan of a new artsyle... at all. The previous one had a certain charm this one just doesn't and to see characters being re-imagined as yet another beffy baristas just makes me roll my eyes (especially Ollie since the narrative establishes early on that his strenghts lies in his intelligence, not muscles. Seeing him like this is so jarring...). On a side note just because buff character are popular in a furry fandom doesn't mean they are appropriate for this particular novel.

From how I see it, yes you do have a point; the visual novel itself is not fitting with the artstyle (especially Ollie...). I had not thought about the charm that Rainbow had because I drew the sprites in my own artstyle that's been changing over the course of my hiatus. Since, the vn itself is in development, things are still bound to change. So, maybe I'd try to rework on the sprites again? Probably the next one would capture Rainbow's charm? Whichever it will be, I hope you'll still find Rainbow interesting to continue. I appreciate your comment!

I'm very intrigued with this visual novel can't wait to see more. I love the character art and personality. and the main character is my favorite animal. The new episodes are really worth the wait.
I love this VN! I mean, I felt good reading this, It's been some time since a VN made me feel something like that. The characters are relatable and lovely, the art is fantastic and the story is heartwarming and mysterious, I can't help but love it.
